Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Technician 1 to support our Integration Test & Launch department in Redondo Beach, CA. You will work on space flight hardware, interpreting blueprints and work instructions to assemble, integrate, and test components in a team environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, 2–5 years of related experience, and familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools, measurement devices, and basic Microsoft tools. On-site 9/80 workweek.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate and test space flight hardware per blueprints and specs.
• Handle delicate and ESD sensitive hardware in a dynamic team.
• Assist with assembly of non-flight Ground Support Equipment and operate forklifts/cranes/rigging.
