Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a finance professional to support the Space accounting team with cost and payroll accounting entries. You will improve processes, enhance controls, and provide analyses to Finance and Business Operations.

Responsibilities include month-end entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting employees with timekeeping questions. The role requires collaboration across locations, strong communication, and flexibility to meet deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s from an accredited college or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to develop relationships and work effectively with others in different locations.
• Must be able to adjust work schedule to ensure critical financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation to obtain a possible clearance and if applicable must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required.
• Microsoft Office skills.

Aufgaben

• Support Space accounting team to ensure proper accounting treatment for cost and payroll accounting entries.
• Continuously improve processes, enhance system/process controls, provide value add analysis and support to the Finance and Business Operations departments.
• Responsible for month-end entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and assisting employees with timekeeping questions.
• Work with internal customers to solve problems and other duties as assigned.
• Participates in the weekly office meeting at Highlands Ranch and may require additional ad hoc days for audits or trainings.
• Perform financial activities within FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc., including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
