United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Plumbing Technician for 2nd shift to support critical infrastructure on site in Hawthorne, CA. You will design, build, activate and maintain advanced manufacturing facilities, collaborating with engineers and technicians to prevent downtime and deliver reliable services.

The role emphasizes HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with hands-on maintenance, installations, repairs, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems in peak operating condition and develop/update detailed work instructions.
• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems including air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, and filters.
• Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, evacuation & charging of various refrigerants, water piping, insulation modifications and repairs.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Perform hands-on shop work and on-site disassembly, inspection, testing of pumps and mechanical equipment.
• Follow site compliance with all applicable company, local, state, and federal codes and laws.
