Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Playa Vista, CA seeks an experienced Space Simulation Test Engineer specializing in environmental testing to ensure the reliability and performance of our spacecraft systems and supporting components.

You will design and manage test protocols for vibration, thermal cycling, TVAC, EMI/EMC, and pneumatic testing; operate environmental testing equipment; analyze data; and collaborate with production, design, and quality teams to continuously improve testing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental testing in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage test plans for environmental testing.
• Operate vibration shakers, thermal chambers and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze test data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with production, design and QA teams.
• Improve testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
