Job summary

ICEYE is seeking an Electronics R&D Test Lead to head the electrical AIT team for its next-generation optical spacecraft. You will own end-to-end qualification, testing, debugging of electronics and software, and the EGSE used to support integration, while guiding the team from concept through prototyping towards production.

This role blends hands-on technical ownership with people leadership. The position offers a hybrid work model, with security screening applicable where required, and reports

Qualifications

  • Experience leading people or a senior, people-oriented technical background with leadership potential.
  • Hands-on development, integration, testing, or production of complex electronics systems.
  • Strong debugging skills in electronics and software.
  • AIT experience spanning software and electronics.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into people leadership.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical AIT team and own end-to-end electrical AIT for new spacecraft and subsystems.
  • Run subsystem qualification and functional testing, and spacecraft-level system testing for the new generation of optical satellites.
  • Debug electronics and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and rework PCBAs as needed.
  • Own the design and build of the Electronics Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used for testing and integration.
  • Support next-generation spacecraft integration and ensure AIT procedures are handed over to production.
  • Represent testing findings to design engineering and drive design changes.
