Trident Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector in Chantilly, VA to perform validation inspections and ensure materials and shipments meet Space-Flight Quality standards. You will conduct in-process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, and PCBs, and review documentation to verify conformance.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, knowledge of NASA 8739/IPC standards, and experience with ISO/AS9100 environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years' manufacturing or inspection experience.
• Ability to read engineering documentation and inspect to drawings and parts lists.
• Experience inspecting to NASA 8739 or IPC/J-STD-001.
• Willingness to work second shift and overtime as required.
• Experience in ISO/AS9100 environment and using process specifications.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed inspections on electrical and mechanical components at part and assembly level.
• Uphold quality standards and workmanship practices in assigned centers.
• Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies found during inspection.
• Conduct audits of work areas for compliance with ISO/AS9100/Lean principles.
• Review product build documentation for configuration audit and as-built vs as-designed conformance.
• Train and mentor new hires on QA processes and styles.
