Job summary

Cesium Astro is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join our fast-paced hardware team in Austin, TX. You will contribute to high-reliability electronics assemblies for satellites and aerospace systems, building, repairing, and maintaining SMT circuit cards and final assemblies.

As a startup, you’ll wear multiple hats, aid in inventory tasks, and support shipping/receiving to meet delivery goals with quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling SMT circuit cards in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in high-reliability industries (aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
• Ability to build, repair, and maintain final electronics assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble SMT circuit cards and final electronics assemblies.
• Repair and test assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Assist in cycle counts, shipping/receiving, and other tasks as needed.

As an Electronics Assembly Technician at Cesium Astro, you will be a key team member in ensuring the quality and delivery of our products meets our customer's expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-reliability industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical devices. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and be capable and motivated to build, repair and maintain an SMT circuit card and electronics final assemblies.

As we are a start-up the expectation is that we all wear many hats, and at times you may be asked to assist in additional duties such as performing cycle counts of inventory, assisting in shipping and receiving functions, or other tasks.
