Job summary

Blue Canyon Technologies, RTX's small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider, is solving some of the toughest challenges in space. Qualifications

• 8+ years of supply chain/procurement experience on DoD/NASA subcontracts.
• BS/BA preferred.
• Advanced FAR/DFAR knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with subcontract management at aerospace/defense contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage category specific minor, low to medium dollar space segment/subsystem subcontracts.
• Lead end-to-end subcontract execution from solicitation through award and closeout.
• Develop supplier strategic relationships and monitor risk and performance.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and statements of work to ensure accurate subcontract placement.
• Source suppliers, issue RFQs/RFPs, and evaluate proposals; analyze cost/price and capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and standard Terms and Conditions.
• Identify supplier risk and opportunities; drive risk assessments and negotiations.
• Manage supplier performance throughout the subcontract lifecycle; escalate issues as needed.
• Represent SCM on cross-functional teams with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Handle modifications, funding, spend tracking, milestones, and payments; review contract changes.
• Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance with company policies.
