Job summary

Karman Space and Defense in Corona, CA is seeking a Scheduler to maintain production flow by coordinating priorities, tracking work in process, and resolving constraints impacting schedule execution. In this role you will collaborate with operations, planners, and supervisors to provide accurate job status visibility and meet production commitments.

You will serve as the primary scheduling contact for assigned resource groups, monitor WIP in ERP systems, and help drive on-time delivery by

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Scheduling or planning experience.
• Knowledge of routings, travelers, and shop floor operations.
• Experience with ERP systems; Epicor preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to support process-improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work directly with operators and supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary scheduling point of contact for assigned resource groups.
• Monitors and manages work in process status for production jobs and ensures updates are accurately reflected in ERP systems.
• Prioritizes and expedites jobs affected by material, labor, tooling, or quality constraints.
• Coordinates priorities and communicates job status updates with supervisors, planners, and operations teams.
• Supports recovery efforts for late or high‑priority orders.
• Assists with part staging, expediting, job sequencing, and reprioritization activities.
• Identifies production bottlenecks and escalates issues affecting delivery performance.
• Supports inventory cycle count activities as required.
