Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Wilsonville, OR is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex aerospace and defense programs across development, qualification, production, and delivery. You will own performance against cost, schedule, technical and contractual objectives, coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with customers and prime contractors.

The role offers a salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 per year and requires a BS in engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense/complex technical programs.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex aerospace/defense programs through development, qualification, production, and delivery.
• Owns performance against cost, schedule, technical, and contractual objectives.
• Develops and maintains integrated plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and metrics.
• Coordinates execution across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, contracts, and finance.
• Serves as primary interface for customers, prime contractors, government stakeholders, and internal leadership.
• Identifies risks and drives mitigation and recovery actions.
• Supports design reviews, test readiness, production readiness, and customer acceptance events.
• Manages statements of work, contract changes, and follow-on opportunities.
