Zusammenfassung

Quantum Sky is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) SME to support USSF Space Operations Command on SPICES contract. You will develop materials to raise crew proficiency, perform intrusion detection, and lead incident response with DCO technologies across SIEM, ELK, and endpoint protections.

Required: DoD CSSP Analyst/Incident Responder certifications and 6+ years in cyber security. Colorado Springs location; TS/SCI familiarity preferred; on-site work schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Active DoD CSSP Analyst or Incident Responder certs (CSSP-required).
• Six years of Cyber Security Analyst experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Cybersecurity Monitoring and Intrusion Detection/Cyber Incident Response.
• Experience with SIEM tools and threat intel workflows.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack, Kibana, Suricata, Suricata/Snort logs.

Aufgaben

• Develop operational and technical materials to increase crew proficiency.
• Provide cyber defense remediation and mitigation recommendations for incidents/events.
• Support Operational Planning Teams and crew shift planning; validate technical approaches.
• Draft/validate squadron DCO TTPs, SOPs, OIs, and related materials.
• Analyze new DCO-Space capability releases for mission execution.
• Attend meetings and VTCs at various clearance levels as required.
• Advise on exercises and mission rehearsals; maintain proficiency in DCO crew operations.
• Provide expertise for DCO-Space capabilities including SIEM, EPP, SOAR, and logs analysis.
• Assist crews in intrusion detection monitoring and analysis; review SITREP/MISREP inputs.
• Contribute to CIRTs with mitigation COAs and situational awareness reporting.
• Input/Review COAs for cyber incident response timing and sequencing.
• Participate in post-incident hot washes and lessons learned.
