Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) SME to support the US Space Force under the SPICES contract. You will develop training materials, guide crew proficiency, and provide expert guidance on DCO tools including SIEM, EDH, and endpoint protections.

You will lead incident response activities, validate TTPs and SOPs, and collaborate with Government teams to ensure mission readiness for space mission systems. A TS/SCI environment and travel as needed are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Active DoD CSSP Analyst or Incident Responder certs are required.
• Six years of cyber security analyst experience is preferred.
• Experience with cyber monitoring and incident response is expected.
• Familiarity with DCO and space mission systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials to increase crew proficiency and readiness.
• Support cyber defense remediation and incident response.
• Assist in planning processes and validate technical approaches.
• Draft and validate DCO TTPs, SOPs, and OIs for squadron use.
• Analyze new DCO-Space capabilities and inform mission execution.
