Job summary

EVONA, a fast-growing space technology company, seeks a Director of Business Development to lead expansion into the US defence and intelligence market. You will own strategy and customer relationships across DoD/IC, reporting to the SVP of Growth, coordinating with engineering, legal, and finance.

This is an end-to-end capture role: from first customer contact to signed contract, with opportunities managed remotely from an approved location. Travel up to 35% and active TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace or defence, including at least 5 years in business development.
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading proposals and captures for US Government customers.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive short-term wins and long-term growth across the DoD/IC space.
• Own customer engagement, build pipeline, and lead capture from lead to award.
• Shape account strategies for target agencies and organisations.
• Lead proposals and RFIs end to end with engineering inputs and price-to-win.
