Qualifications

• BS in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Strong Python skills, including typing, testing, packaging, and library design.
• Familiar with YAML/JSON and data validation (e.g., pydantic).
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit and integration test development experience.
• Comfort with Linux/command line.
• Proven ability to build tools that engineers adopt.
• Ability to work autonomously and exercise strong engineering judgment.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Develop software tools to accelerate, streamline, and organize engineering development.
• Create infrastructure for high-volume automated testing, data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Build pipelines to organize and evaluate engineering trade studies through config management, version control, automated analysis workflows, visualization, and comparison tools.
• Support infrastructure development for satellite technology demonstrations.
