Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking a Post Baccalaureate Student for the Space Data & Software Systems Group (ISR-3). You will join the Data Processing Tools & Management team to develop pipelines and deployment infrastructure for space mission data.

Responsibilities include software development, systems engineering, and working in a classified environment with a focus on security, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant STEM field with strong academic record.
• Experience with C/C++ and/or Python as core programming languages.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and version control systems.
• Ability to collaborate with scientific teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data processing software, pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
• Support space mission operations through software development and systems engineering tasks.
• Work in a classified setting with emphasis on security and documentation.
• Contribute to team collaboration and technical reviews in ISR-3.
