Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Space Data Network Systems Engineer to join the Space Data Network program and provide systems engineering support within an integrated program office with USSF, Aerospace, SE&I contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physical science, mathematics, or related technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a SDN systems engineer: support rapid and high-capacity SDN acquisition and launch.
• Advising the customer, including government leadership, in formulating, evaluating, and understanding system requirements.
• Provide insight to Aerospace leadership and the customer on risks, issues, opportunities and mitigation actions.
• Solve challenging systems engineering problems and develop creative solutions.
• Establish and maintain the confidence and trust of the government customer.
