Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Space Cyber Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity for DoD and space programs. You will protect critical infrastructure, develop cyber capabilities, and integrate space-ground systems with an emphasis on resilience and mission assurance.

The role requires expert DoD/IC cybersecurity experience, TS/SCI with SCI eligibility, and hands-on work with Docker, containers, AWS, and Azure.

Qualifications

Ten years DoD/IC or relevant industry experience in computer network operations or cybersecurity/information assurance.
Working knowledge of platforms including Docker, Containers, AWS & Azure.
DoD/IC programs experience as an ISSE and/or ISSM.
Security standards knowledge: JSIG and RMF (NIST SP 800-37).
Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI, SCI eligibility, and polygraph willingness.
DoD 8140/8570 IAM/IAT Level II Certification and CISSP certification.

Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity engineering support to assigned project teams.
Perform security assessments and develop remediation options.
Develop cyber mission effects through engineering activities.
Develop or employ cybersecurity tools used in DoD architectures.
Synthesize intelligence and scan results into actionable reports.
Coordinate with partners to ensure cybersecurity policy adherence and milestones.
