Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a qualified engineer to join the CGAPD team within the IPS division for national security space programs. The role emphasizes modeling, simulation, and analysis to support government and commercial customers.

You will perform end-to-end evaluations, develop analysis tools, and present findings to technical leads and management, contributing to research, development, and acquisition decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline; pursuing or conferred within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Gaining knowledge in national security space mission areas: communication and ground infrastructures, signals intelligence, geo-spatial intelligence, space surveillance, navigation systems.
• Produce analysis driving recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging customer architectures.
• Perform end-to-end performance evaluations and analysis-of-alternatives using in-house tools.
• Work closely with senior staff and team to translate customer needs into project objectives and provide technical evaluations.
• Support development and sustainment of the organization’s analysis and simulation tools and capabilities.
• Develop and present timely, technically accurate presentations and reports communicating results to leads, management, and customers.
