Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation invites applications for a technical role focused on modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of national security space programs. The position emphasizes software-heavy analysis using Python, C++, and MATLAB with exposure to space-ground architectures.

You will collaborate with senior staff to translate customer needs into concrete objectives, perform end-to-end evaluations, and contribute to the evolution of analysis tools.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of industry experience.
• Academic or internship experience with space-related modeling, architectures, data networks, scheduling algorithms, or mission management.
• Experience with one or more software languages: Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in national security space areas such as communication and ground infrastructures, signals intelligence, geo-spatial intelligence, space surveillance, navigation systems, or space protection.
• Produce analysis driving recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging customer architectures.
• Perform end-to-end performance evaluations and AoA analyses using in-house tools.
• Collaborate with senior staff to translate customer needs into project objectives and provide technical evaluations.
• Support development and sustainment of the organization’s analysis and simulation tools.
• Develop and present timely, technically accurate presentations and reports to technical leads, management, and customers.
