Job summary

A leading aerospace technology firm in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Avionics Production Engineer to enhance spacecraft systems. The candidate will develop and optimize production processes for avionics and related hardware, working directly with engineers and supporting production. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or related field.
• Years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering for aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems.
• Experience with PLM, MES, configuration, and data management controls.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and scaling of spacecraft avionics manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop work instructions for avionics subsystems assembly and testing.
• Directly support production to ensure efficient build of avionics hardware.
