Firefly Aerospace in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking an Avionics Production Technician to join our electronics manufacturing facility. You will work with the Avionics and Integration teams to assemble harnesses and flight hardware for space launch vehicles.

The role emphasizes high quality, documentation for QA, and collaboration with engineering to implement improvements. On‑site training and growth opportunities are available within a dynamic, fast‑paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in wire harness assembly.
• Experience with harness assembly including wire prep, connector termination, soldering.
• Dexterity for hands-on harness assembly for extended periods.
• Basic MS Office and email skills.
• Familiarity with IPC 620, IPC 610, J-STD-001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble high quality wire harnesses and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Ensure all work is documented for QA inspection.
• Demonstrate harness repair techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, and drawings.
• Provide feedback to engineering on quality and improvements.
• Comply with FOD, tool control, 5‑S and safety regulations.
