Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Data Scientist for the Data Science Artificial Intelligence Department (DSAID) in the Information Systems Cyber Division (ISCD). This full-time role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, with deployment in Boulder, CO.

The candidate must be available to work onsite at the Colorado office. Responsibilities include developing ML experiments, testing and deploying ML systems, evaluating models for mission-critical apps, and collaborating across teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 0-1 year of industry work experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with machine learning/AI and software engineering.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux.
• Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing machine learning and data science experiments across NLP, computer vision, time series, and RL.
• Testing and deployment of ML-powered systems.
• Evaluating technologies and models for mission-critical applications.
• Collaborating with teams to deliver features and products.
• Presenting results to customer stakeholders.
