Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help space companies leverage AWS cloud for missions. You will guide customers across launch services, human spaceflight, orbital systems, and ground segments, while leading architecture reviews, workshops, and technical content creation.

Ideal candidates have a deep technical foundation, strong communication skills, and a passion for space. The role requires a US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance and may require travel to customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate missions and recommend best-practice architectures.
• Build technical relationships and act as trusted advisor to customers.
• Share voice of the customer to inform AWS feature roadmaps.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and new reference architectures.
• Educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, and conferences.
