SAIC seeks an experienced Acquisition Space Systems Engineer to provide SETA services for a rapidly expanding IC customer, focusing on space and ground programs in Chantilly, VA. You will support the SPO in acquisition planning, early systems engineering, and technical analysis to guide new space acquisitions.

The role involves governance artifact generation, requirements decomposition, and cross-agency coordination. TS/SCI with poly required; on-site position with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelors in STEM with 14+ years experience; Masters with 12+ years or PhD with 9+ years.
• Experience with Federal, Department Of War (DoW), and Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition processes.
• Experience with Space Acquisition Process.
• Experience in acquisition planning and execution.
• Experience in research and development acquisitions to include technology development planning.
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and respond to Government queries.

Responsabilités

• Pre-Acquisition, Acquisition and governance artifact generation.
• Requirements decomposition and traceability.
• Guiding program acquisitions through agency governance process.
• Assisting leadership in coordination and collaboration activities across multiple agencies and with oversight.
• Coordinating acquisitions and acquisition documents across the Program Office.
• Maintaining awareness of Systems Engineering Processes and Artifacts.
• Representing the Program Office in customer acquisition discussions related to current and future contracts.
• Reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for compliance, execution, and program status.
