Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Spa Supervisor to lead our spa team and uphold exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

You''ll supervise staff, manage daily operations, handle inventory, and coordinate group bookings while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality that reflect our 'hospitality with heart & soul' ethos.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Spa staff and ensure adherence to duties and standards.
• Maintain daily communications log for all Spa Associates.
• Evaluate inventory monthly and reorder from vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders for necessary supplies.
• Update Spa desk procedures to current policies.
• Coordinate group bookings and address group needs.
• Review reservation activity to verify treatment availability.
• Inspect Spa and facilities for defects or issues throughout the day.
• Review resumes and communicate staff changes for arriving groups.
• Ensure daily laundry requirements are met.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts of Professional Inventory.
• Cover Concierge or Spa Attendant roles during absences.

As a Spa Supervisor, you’ll play an essential role in creating a peaceful, welcoming, and exceptional experience for every guest who visits our spa. You’ll lead and support our spa team, help maintain the highest standards of service, and ensure the department operates smoothly from the moment guests arrive until they leave feeling refreshed and cared for.

What You\'ll Do

• Supervise and oversee Spa staff, ensuring they adhere to job duties and standards.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive daily communications log for all Spa Associates.
• Evaluate inventory needs monthly and initiate re-orders from vendors as required.
• Prepare purchase orders for necessary supplies from vendors.
• Maintain and update Spa desk procedures to keep them current with the latest policies and protocols.
• Review and coordinate group bookings, addressing specific group needs and preferences.
• Thoroughly review reservation activity reports daily to verify the accuracy and availability of treatments.
• Conduct regular inspections of the Spa and its facilities throughout the day, addressing any defects or operational issues.
• Review resumes and communicate necessary staff changes or adjustments for arriving groups.
• Ensure daily laundry requirements are met.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts of Professional Inventory for salons, spas, esthetics, and retail areas.
• Be prepared to cover Concierge and/or Spa Attendant positions during staff absences or when business demands.
