Job summary

Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa is seeking part-time associates to uphold service standards and warmly welcome guests in our resort environment.

The role emphasizes exceptional guest relations, attention to detail, and knowledge of food and beverage offerings, with perks including hotel, dining, golf and retail discounts, worldwide Marriott travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Ability to maintain high service standards and attentiveness to guests.
• Experience in food and beverage service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high service standards and cash handling procedures.
• Serves all food and beverage items according to records and procedures.
• Assists with bussing tables and keeps water glasses filled.
• Maintains hospitality and guest relations throughout service.

Job description

Maintains high service standards, handles cashiering responsibilities and check control procedures. Serves all food and beverage items according to use records and established procedures. Assists with busing tables when necessary and must strive for finer points of service such as making sure that the water glasses are filled, that the table is free from dirty dishes, etc. Exercises positive warm hospitality. Maintains knowledge of food items. Must have excellent communication and guest relations skills.
