Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is opening a brand-new location in Northlake, Texas. We are seeking an experienced Spa Manager to lead the pre-opening activities, build the founding team, and manage ongoing business performance.

The ideal candidate will have spa or wellness management experience, be comfortable guiding a diverse staff, driving memberships, overseeing daily operations, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa or wellness management.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build a collaborative culture.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and evaluating staff.
• Strong sales-management skills in membership-based or service-oriented business.
• Understanding of retail calculations, pricing, and labor costs.

Responsabilités

• Direct daily spa operations and ensure a welcoming guest experience.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain therapists, estheticians, and spa staff.
• Lead, coach, and develop employees to foster a positive team culture.
• Schedule staff based on demand, availability, peak hours, and labor targets.
• Coordinate payroll info, orientation, training, evaluations, and related processes.
• Set sales expectations and coach front-desk on memberships, rebooking, and retail.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate purchasing, and ensure supplies in treatment rooms.
• Oversee POS transactions, cash controls, and daily reconciliations.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and monitor revenue and expenses.
• Review KPIs: membership growth, conversions, cancellations, utilization, rebooking, and labor costs.
• Support presale, grand-opening, local marketing, referrals, and outreach.
• Maintain clean, organized spa environment compliant with policies and safety.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns, service recovery, and employee issues.
• Partner with ownership to review results and plan growth.
