Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Spa Manager to lead daily spa operations, coach therapists and front desk staff, and uphold service standards across a multi-property portfolio.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage revenue and costs, and collaborate with marketing to boost bookings and retail sales while ensuring safety and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, wellness management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2--3 years of spa/wellness experience with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Experience with spa booking systems, inventory control, and budget management required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations to ensure guest satisfaction, efficiency, and team performance.
• Lead, train, and manage spa staff including therapists, technicians, and front desk teammates; support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
• Develop and implement spa service standards, procedures, and policies for consistency and excellence.
• Monitor financial performance (revenue, labor costs, inventory, budget adherence); generate and analyze reports.
• Coordinate marketing and promotions with sales/marketing to drive bookings and retail sales.
• Ensure spa complies with safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
• Address guest concerns professionally and promptly to maintain service excellence.
• Evaluate and recommend new treatments, products, and offerings based on trends and feedback.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, labor costs, inventory, and budget adherence; generate and analyze reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to drive bookings and retail sales.
• Ensure the spa maintains compliance with all safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
• Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly to maintain service excellence.
• Evaluate and recommend new treatments, products, and service offerings based on industry trends and guest feedback.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, wellness management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2--3 years of experience in a spa or wellness environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with spa booking systems, inventory control, and budget management required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of spa services, products, trends, and guest service best practices.
• Proficiency in spa or hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to track performance and drive results.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs dictate.
