Job summary

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey, located in Hershey, PA, is hiring for a Full-Time Spa Cleaning Team Member on the 10:30 pm–7:00 am shift. This union position offers a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one and access to employee perks, including free Hersheypark admission.

Duties include cleaning corridors and spa areas, moving furniture, vacuuming, polishing fixtures, and maintaining cleanliness across treatment rooms, with emphasis on safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Post-offer physical exam required.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Evenings and weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all corridors, elevators, terraces, restrooms, and locker rooms in the Spa.
• Move furniture, dust, disinfect, polish fixtures, and empty trash.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, operate wet vac, strip and wax floors, mop.
• Clean air vents, mirrors, and grout.
• Change shower curtains and tile cleaning in spa areas.
• Complete daily assignments within the Spa at The Hotel Hershey.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Cleaning all of the corridors, elevators, terraces, restrooms, and locker rooms within the Spa

Moving furniture, dusting, disinfecting, polishing fixtures and brass, and emptying trash

Vacuuming and shampooing carpets, operating wet vac, stripping and waxing floors, and mopping

Cleaning air vents, mirrors, and grout

Changing shower curtains and completing detailed tile cleaning in the spa steam rooms and showers

Completing daily assignments within the Spa at The Hotel Hershey

Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

This position requires successful completion and passing of the post-offer employment physical exam.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be self-motivated

Able to prioritize multiple tasks

Capable of working alone and being a self-starter

Must possess guest relation skills and a professional image

Must be very detail oriented

Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions

Must be able to operate commercial cleaning equipment listed above

Job Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

Constantly (67 – 100% of time) Stand, Walk, and Balance

Frequently (34 – 66% of time) Lift (0-20 lbs), Carry (0-20lbs), Push (0-75 lbs), Pull (0-75 lbs), Reach forward and overhead, stoop, kneel, crouch, Handle Objects, Finger, Feel, Simple Hand Grasp, and Operate Controls

Occasionally (1 – 33%) Lift (21 – 50 lbs), Carry (21 – 50 lbs), Climb Stairs, and Crawl

Proper footwear to be provided by employee

Schedule is 3rd shift: 10:30 pm- 7:00 am; weekends and holidays

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
