Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a calm first impression.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, book appointments, and manage scheduling.
• Support guest check-ins/outs and process payments.
• Provide informed recommendations on retail products and spa services.
• Maintain cleanliness and ambiance of reception and displays.
• Assist with light admin tasks, inventory, and laundry coordination.
• Coordinate with treatment team to ensure flow and timing.
• Make guests feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their visit.

The Spa Host serves as the welcoming guide to our guests' wellness journey. This is a key role that ensures each visit is smooth, meaningful, and memorable—from first contact to farewell. *This position would mainly work morning/day shifts*

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and genuinely; creating a welcoming, calm first impression
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, book appointments, and manage daily scheduling
• Support guest check-ins and check-outs, including payment processing
• Provide informed recommendations on retail products and spa services
• Maintain cleanliness and ambiance of the reception area and retail displays
• Assist with light administrative tasks, inventory, and laundry coordination
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure flow and timing
• Help guests feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their visit

Essential Functions

To perform the duties and requirements for this job, you must have the following physical abilities:

• Sit and stand for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
• Enter data into a computer terminal, operate standard office equipment, and use telephone
• See and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids
• Hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephoneSpeak so that others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone
• Constant: sitting, standing and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs
• Frequent: typing, use of mouse, bending of neck, climbing stairs
• Occasional: twisting of neck

You must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach; lift and carry equipment and supplies; walking daily up and down the stairs and sitting for periods up to 4 hours and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

The pay rate for this position is $22 per hour

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a spa, salon, wellness, retail, or medical front office setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in customer service or hospitality
• Computer-savvy and willing to learn spa software (training provided)
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Cosmetology license, esthetics background, or product sales experience is a plus
