Evans Hotels is seeking a Spa Attendant for The Spa at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. This full-time role supports guests at the spa, lockers, lounges, fitness center, and pool, with daily guided nature walks and strong emphasis on cleanliness and guest service.

The position requires 3–12 months of related experience, weekend/holiday availability, and physical ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. An employee-friendly environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• 3–12 months of relevant experience or training.
• Experience, education, and/or training may substitute for requirements.
• Previous hotel or similar business experience preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Compliance with California Labor Code and San Diego Municipal Code.

Responsibilities

• Provides a professional appearance and demeanor to guests.
• Oversees lockers, relaxation lounges, fitness center, pool, and daily tours.
• Ensures facilities are clean, stocked, and well-maintained; replenishes guest amenities.
• Leads guided nature walks through Torrey Pines State Reserve daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of spa and fitness areas.
• Assist guests with locker access and supplies; ensure cabanas are serviced.
• Promote activity equipment and explain rules for outdoor games.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of chairs, blankets, and umbrellas at sundown.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures; perform duties as directed by leadership.
