Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Spa Concierge to deliver exceptional guest service in our spa and wellness areas at Spa Pendry. You will greet guests, book appointments, and advise on spa products while maintaining clean, welcoming spaces and handling cash transactions.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of customer service experience, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests with a smile in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to push/pull large linen bins daily.
• Clear English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle billing.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests to the spa and schedule appointments via phone, email, Teams or other approved methods.
• Provide information to spa inquiries and coordinate guest requests for spa and wellness services.
• Create spa reservations and offer product/retail recommendations.
• Handle cash and ensure all transactions are closed.
• Assist with cleanliness and organization of spa public areas (reception, locker rooms, restrooms, fitness center).
• Restock linen and towels, ensure guest-wear availability.
• Seat guests at the spa pool and attend to them.
• Support daily operations and teamwork across spa, lounges, fitness center and pool.
• Assist Spa Director/Hotel Manager with related tasks.

Spa Concierge SUMMARY

The Spa Concierge will primarily provide guests with exceptional service when checking into and out of the spa, creating spa reservations, maintaining cleanliness of Spa Pendry’s reception, locker room, and fitness areas, and making appropriate personalized recommendations for each guest during their visit.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Greet and welcome all guests to the spa with a courteous smile and schedule appointments via phone, email, teams and any pre-approved method of booking.
• Provide information to all spa inquiries, help to coordinate all guest requests for spa and wellness and maintain impeccable cleanliness of all Spa Pendry areas.
• Create spa reservations, make product/retail recommendations, and ensure that their spa day is scheduled appropriately.
• Cash handling, collecting payment for services, ensuring all transactions are closed.
• Assist with the cleanliness and organization of all spa public areas including: reception areas, salon, locker rooms, restrooms, fitness center, and spa tranquility area.
• Assist in removal of all used/soiled linen and restocking with clean linen as needed.
• Ensuring an adequate supply of clean towels and guest-wear are immediately available for use.
• Provide services to guests in a timely, courteous and proficient manner.
• Stock the pool host stand and ensure it is well organized, neat, and filled appropriately.
• Seat guests as they arrive to the spa pool and ensure they are attended to as needed.
• Assist fellow associates with daily operations to support healthy teamwork and contribute to the success of the Spa.
• Assist in any other function as requested by Spa Director, Hotel Manager and/or General Manager as it pertains to the spa, lounges, indoor/outdoor area, fitness center, and pool area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 -2 years of customer service experience
• Ability to push/pull large bins of both soiled and clean linen daily throughout the hotel for processing and distribution
• Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle billing
• Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PREFERRED

• Prior front desk, spa or health club experience preferred
• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking and providing detailed tours of the spa shared public areas; Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push of clean and soiled laundry bins to fulfill cleaning tasks and physical demands of job.

The pay scale for the Spa Concierge position is $18.00/hour.

The pay scale is the base hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and may include other factors, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
