Spa Café Coordinator, Kohler Waters Spa

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Our Kohler Waters Spa team at The American Club Resort offers more than 50 innovative spa services using the healing properties of Earth’s mineral-rich waters and is one of only 64 five-star spas worldwide. Join our world-class team of spa professionals and help our guests renew and recharge while they experience five-star living at its finest.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Supervises Cafe attendants & cooks – includes recruiting, training and integration, performance feedback, goal setting, department staff meetings, and associate communication.
• Works on the floor as a lead server & lead cook, with evening, weekend & holiday availability to ensure quality control during all open hours.
• Keeps inventory & orders supplies for the department, staying within department budget.
• Assists in managing the department budget by providing data, reports, and documentation.
• Ensures all cafe staff are meeting or exceeding the standards and expectations of their assigned roles.
• Oversees Spa Café operations and responsibilities of café staff and ensures all guest contact is handled in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ensures all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards.
• Accurately processes food ordering, production & food cost in a timely manner.
• Responsible for occasional food and drink specials and development for Kohler Waters Spa Café.
• Maintains food safety certification and bartending license.
• Follows food safety and workplace safety practices at all times.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working weekdays and weekends. Shifts will vary between 8am and 9pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must hold a high school diploma at a minimum; college or technical education preferred.
• Previous serving, barista, and cooking experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Candidate must have the ability to complete Learn 2 Serve Certification and obtain a bartending license within 30 days of employment.
• Ideal candidate will possess strong, effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
• Required to successfully fulfill training criteria before customer contact.
• Strong organizational skills are required.

The hourly range for this position is $19.00 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
