Kohler Co. in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a Spa Attendant I to support hospitality standards and guest service across the spa facility. This onsite role emphasizes cleanliness, guest comfort, and proactive service throughout shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to women’s or men’s Respite Room to maintain order, cleanliness and amenities; replenish clean towel supply throughout the facility.
• Perform rounds of the facility to ensure neatness and order.
• Attend to the Reception Desk located in the lower level to accommodate client check-in for sandals, robes and lockers.
• Understand basic RIO system operations for “view-only” purposes, thereby providing communication of service times and availability of services to guests.
• Gather used linens from treatment rooms and assemble for pick-up by The American Club laundry staff; distribute clean linens to designated storage areas and/or treatment rooms.
• Assist spa technicians with cleaning of baths between client treatments.
• Support the maintenance staff with daily readings/testing of water in the Spa Relaxation Pool. Maintain neatness and order around the Spa Relaxation Pool lounge area.
• Advise Spa Hosts on food and beverage replenishment during the day.
• Assist Group Coordinator with setup tasks involving special group requirements; e.g., setup of signage and message boards, etc.

Opportunity

The primary function of the Spa Attendant is to support the support hospitality service standards and commitment to customer service.

FOCUS 1: Support the cleanliness and maintenance of the Kohler Waters Spa facility and equipment.

FOCUS 2: Attend to food and beverage services and spa guest and member needs.

Spa Attendant associates must have excellent working knowledge of all positions, services, products, operations, systems, and procedures within the spa/salon. He/she must also possess knowledge of the Kohler resort and surrounding Village of Kohler. As with all positions, the Spa Attendant will work with all other spa associates to ensure client comfort and satisfaction. Our goal is to exceed our client expectations. • Keep spa technicians informed - do not assume ANYTHING!
• Inform Supervisor ifadditionalstaffisneeded.
• Responsible for knowing and performing proper opening/closing procedures as related to this position (see opening and closing checklist of responsibilities).
• Provide food and beverage support and delivery of lunches, as needed.
• Maintaina high levelof customer service for all spa guests.
• Greet peopleimmediatelyupon arrival.
• Know what services, and amount of time for each service, each tech performs.
• Well groomed.
• Be courteous,professionaland friendly.
• Know the proper procedures for emergency situations.
• Complete an on-site certified CPR training coursefacilitatedby Sports Core Fitness Trainers.

Skills/Requirements

The hourly range for this position is $10.70 - $16.00 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
