Job summary

The Essex Resort & Spa in Vermont is seeking a Spa Attendant to greet guests and explain facilities. You will monitor cleanliness, safety, and provide guidance on spa and fitness areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest.

Responsibilities include tours, equipment assistance, appointment taking, and maintaining spotless facilities. The role requires English communication, light lifting, and a professional appearance in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Computer knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients as they enter the Sports & Fitness Center.
• Provide tours and information about the Sports and Fitness Center and features.
• Assist clients with proper equipment usage.
• Answer the telephone and assist callers.
• Take appointments by phone or in person and record transactions.
• Follow daily checklists as posted on the Spa board.
• Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform and nametag.
• Report accidents or injuries to Security.
• Keep spa and fitness areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Maintain tennis courts and sports courts (water, ice, trash).
