Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is seeking a detail‑oriented Spa Attendant to join the Saltgrass Spa team. This on-site role maintains the wet circuit (sauna, steam, cold plunge, showers, lounge) at the highest cleanliness and readiness standards, while greeting and guiding guests.

The successful candidate is hospitality‑driven, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in a pristine spa circuit. Training on brand standards and products is provided.

Qualifications

• Prior spa, hotel, fitness club, or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Genuine passion for guest service and environmental presentation.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive issue identification.
• Excellent communication with a calm, welcoming presence.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
• Book4Time familiarity is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Open, mid-day, and close walkthroughs of the wet circuit (sauna, steam, cold plunge, showers, lounge).
• Maintain circuit cleanliness; restock towels/amenities; refresh water stations.
• Ensure circuit equipment operates correctly; report maintenance issues to Spa Manager.
• Welcome and orient guests; provide brief introductions to elements and protocols.
• Anticipate guest needs; offer towels, water, electrolytes, or guidance.
• Restock retail and circuit amenities; coordinate with Spa Host team.
• Maintain linen pars; coordinate with housekeeping for towels/robes.
• Assist with laundry turnover during peak periods.
• Support Spa Host with guest transitions between circuit and treatments.
• Maintain locker room cleanliness and product presentation; uphold Saltgrass brand standards.
• Attend required training and product knowledge sessions.

About the role

Our team at Recess Hotel & Club is looking for a detail-oriented and hospitality-driven Spa Attendant to join the Saltgrass Spa team. This role is the foundation of the guest circuit experience — responsible for maintaining the wet circuit (sauna, steam, cold plunge, experiential showers, and lounge areas) at the highest standard of cleanliness, readiness, and presentation, while supporting guests throughout their time in the spa. The ideal candidate takes genuine pride in the environment they maintain and understands that a pristine, thoughtfully restocked circuit is as much a part of the guest experience as any treatment.

This is an on-site position at Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah.

What you'll do

• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing walkthroughs of the wet circuit — sauna, steam room, cold plunge, experiential showers, and relaxation lounge
• Monitor and maintain circuit cleanliness throughout the operating day: wipe surfaces, restock towels and amenities, refresh water stations, and clear used items
• Ensure all circuit equipment (sauna, steam, plunge temperatures, shower settings) is operating correctly at all times; report any maintenance issues to the Spa Manager immediately
• Welcome and orient guests entering the circuit area; provide brief introductions to each element and protocols where appropriate
• Anticipate guest needs proactively — offer additional towels, water, electrolytes (Le Lick), or guidance without being asked
• Restock retail and circuit amenity items (sauna accessories, headwear, body products) throughout the day in coordination with the Spa Host team
• Maintain linen pars and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure adequate towel and robe supply at all times
• Assist with laundry turnover during peak periods
• Support the Spa Host team with guest transitions between circuit and treatment areas as needed
• Maintain locker room cleanliness, amenity restocking (Corpus Naturals products, deodorant, hand care), and vanity presentation
• Uphold Saltgrass brand standards in appearance, demeanor, and guest interaction at all times
• Attend all required training and product knowledge sessions

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a spa, hotel, fitness club, or hospitality environment preferred
• Genuine passion for guest service and a high standard of environmental presentation
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Strong attention to detail — comfortable identifying and addressing issues before guests notice them
• Excellent communication and a calm, welcoming presence
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks throughout a shift
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early morning or evening shifts
