Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Hackensack, NJ is a spa located in the busy Riverfront Plaza with Shoprite. Hand & Stone is a rapidly growing brand that has over 600 locations nationwide.

We are currently seeking an energetic and reliable Spa Assistant Sales Manager with enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter to oversee the day-to-day Sales of our Spa. This individual will establish and implement programs to achieve higher levels of sales & service. We are looking for a dynamic leader to motivate staff and provide hands-on leadership of this business. He or she must understand the necessity of collaboration and guide the staff to operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication, and cooperation. This position is responsible and accountable for certain aspects of daily operations with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

The Spa Assistant Sales Manager works alongside our Spa Director, Spa Manager & Spa Associates at the front desk answering phones, booking appointments, greeting customers, and selling memberships and spa packages. In addition, the Spa Sales Assistant Manager ensures smooth spa operations managing client membership base, training spa associates in all sales related aspects, and handling any customer or staff questions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience, preferably with past sales and management experience. This opportunity is a great chance to learn and grow in your career. Shift schedule as follows:

  1. Monday - 1:30pm - 9:00pm
  2. Tuesday - 1:30pm - 9:00pm
  3. Thursday - 1:30pm - 9:00pm
  4. Friday - 1:30pm - 9:00pm
  5. Saturday - 8:30am - 6:00pm
Primary Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A passion for people and sales
  • High level of enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to coaching/mentoring with discipline while also taking directive from Spa Management Team
  • Strong organizational/planning and computer skills
  • Retail/Sales and customer service experience
  • Experience with a booking system is a plus
  • Oversee and manage the daily sales of a busy spa
  • Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of both massage therapy and facials
  • Handle administrative tasks including but not limited to KPI's, reporting, and reviews
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays
  • Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line
