About the role

The Assistant Spa Manager supports the daily operations and development of our luxury Spa, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience in alignment with Four Seasons standards. This role assists in managing the team, overseeing service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance, and driving the financial success and innovation of the Spa.

What you will do

• Support and oversee all Spa and Salon areas, including reception, locker rooms, treatment rooms, fitness center, and retail areas

• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating Spa team members to ensure performance excellence and team morale

• Ensure all operational standards are maintained, including cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and compliance with sanitation protocols

• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and retail operations including quarterly inventory and creating purchase orders

• Manage payroll and labor budgets, and support the Spa Director in forecasting and cost control

• Handle guest feedback and resolve service challenges to ensure guest satisfaction

• Maintain accurate departmental records and utilize key systems such as Book4Time, Opera, Birchstreet, and OnTrack

• Participate in planning and executing promotions, group bookings, and on-site spa tours

• Ensure safety, training, and compliance with all Four Seasons and Spa protocols

• Collaborate with other departments to align operations and deliver seamless guest experiences

What you bring

• At least 3 years of Spa or hospitality leadership experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team

• Extensive knowledge of spa operations, treatments, retail, and service trends

• Strong organizational and time management skills in a high-paced environment

• Familiarity with spa booking systems (Book4Time preferred), and tools such as Opera, Birchstreet, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and deliver a warm, professional guest experience

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs.

• This position requires the flexibility to work a diverse schedule encompassing days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
