Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a LOB Risk Specialist - SOX & Internal Controls in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work within the Finance Governance & Oversight Team to support risk management and regulatory reporting across the bank.

The role emphasizes risk framework understanding, governance, testing, and cross-functional collaboration with auditors and regulators. A strong communication skillset is required.

Qualifications

• University degree and 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of FGO Frameworks (SOX, Basel, Liquidity, Regulatory Reporting).
• Ability to communicate risks to management and governance committees.
• Experience with risk governance and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance within specified Line of Business (LOB) and/or Shared Services function.
• Understand FGO Frameworks (e.g., SOX, Basel, Liquidity, Regulatory Reporting) and the associated methodologies.
• Serve as the primary LOB contact to support and advise management in their effort to manage risk and controls effectively as they relate to FGO in-scope programs.
• Perform 2LOD review, challenge, and governance functions for FGO supported control framework; ensure documentation and remediation.
• Effectively communicate identified issues to management and appropriate governing Committees; track within eGRC Archer.
• Foster collaboration and coordination across the FGO team and business partners.
• Be proactive and adaptable in managing changes that impact the FGO control environment.
• Support broader Control and Finance initiatives where appropriate.
