Job summary

Nature's Sunshine Products, Inc. is seeking a motivated Internal Audit Intern to support the Global Internal Audit team. You will gain hands-on experience in SOX testing, control evaluations, and documentation within a multinational consumer products company.

You will assist in risk assessment, process walkthroughs, and audit planning while developing workpapers and reporting artifacts under supervision. This role bridges classroom theory with practical audit methods.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Data Analytics.
• Strong academic performance and interest in internal audit and controls.
• Willingness to pursue CPA/CIA/CISA after graduation is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in SOX 404 internal control evaluations and testing.
• Support documentation, workpapers, and audit findings preparation.
• Participate in risk assessment, process walkthroughs, and control design reviews.
• Perform basic data validation and substantive testing of financial records.
• Shadow senior auditors and contribute to status updates for management.
