Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is offering a year‑round internship in our Internal Audit group based in Houston, TX. The position is part-time during academic terms and full-time during the summer (up to 3 months).

The intern will collaborate with internal auditors on tasks with focus areas such as SOX compliance and operational audits. The successful candidate will have basic familiarity with these concepts and be self-motivated, able to learn via remote platforms (video, phone, email).

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year undergraduate or graduate program in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and strong written communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States per regulatory requirements (10 CFR Part 810).

Responsibilities

• Learn and gain experience in internal audits at a growing organization; tools may include AuditBoard and Microsoft Office.
• Learn and gain experience in the life cycle of audits and presenting results to cross-functional teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
