Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Accounting Compliance & Projects to streamline systems, improve reporting, and lead SOX compliance initiatives across multiple brands and sites. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic transformation to support growth.

You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close, while mentoring the accounting team and collaborating with finance, operations, and leadership to drive efficiency and control improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.
• Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
• CPA or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal controls and SOX compliance across brands and sites.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors.
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor accounting team members.
