Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. is seeking a Manager of Accounting Compliance & Projects to streamline systems, improve reporting, and lead SOX compliance across brands. The role is hands-on, independent, and focused on transforming finance processes to support growth.

You will manage daily execution, oversee internal SOX compliance, and drive cross-functional initiatives while mentoring accounting team members. A hybrid work model is offered with in-office collaboration and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or corporate experience preferred.
• Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.
• Manufacturing or construction industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal controls and SOX compliance across multiple brands and sites.
• Facilitate SOX-related internal and external audit requests and serve as primary point of contact for auditors.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies, unusual transactions, and control issues.
• Execute, monitor, and enhance internal controls to maintain SOX compliance and reduce risk.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements across multiple brands and ERP systems.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve variances and unusual transactions.
• Facilitate financial-related internal and external audit requests and serve as primary contact for auditors.
• Evaluate existing accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Participate as SME in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Assist the Controller in maintaining and improving internal controls and business processes.
• Mentor and support other accounting team members.
• Serve as a trusted accounting resource for high-priority initiatives.
• Provide technical accounting expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and business leaders to support organizational objectives.
• Cross train, back up, and support the broader accounting team.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives that impact the broader organization.
• Support a team of accounting professionals, set priorities, delegate work, and ensure timely completion.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
