Job summary

Mistral is seeking an Operations Engineer to build and support the infrastructure behind sovereign AI, spanning Linux environments, cloud systems, and AI workloads. You will ensure reliability, performance, and security while enabling customers to leverage Mistral’s solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Linux systems, Kubernetes, Slurm, and cloud-native technologies. Collaboration with research, product, and infra teams is essential to align systems with AI needs and customer

Qualifications

Experience with Linux administration at scale.
Proficiency with Slurm and Kubernetes for workload management.
Familiarity with distributed storage and high-performance networking.
Customer-facing mindset with strong debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Own and operate the infrastructure powering Mistral’s sovereign AI.
Troubleshoot incidents to ensure availability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with research, product, and infrastructure teams.
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
Explore modern cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and GPU orchestration.
