The Southwick School is located in a beautiful wooded and pastoral setting at 50 Zion Hill Road in Northfield, NH. Our main vision is to make our school an engaging place not only for our students, but also our staff and community. To that end we have worked hard in the last couple of years to change our approach. Recently we added an outdoor classroom/Greenhouse; it is about 1200 square feet. We have started growing produce and experimenting with heirloom plants. We also are currently piloting a honeybee program with our students. They seem to enjoy the chance to put on a bee suit and learn first hand. We also added an outdoor classroom/amphitheater in the woods with mountain bike and walking trails. We have the help of our regional HS AG program students who are frequenters here on our campus. We enjoy the relationship we are building with them. Currently we have grades K-4 and about 252 students. Class sizes are nimble and we have an incredible staff who are remarkably dedicated and passionate about working here. If you want to set up a visit, just call our front office. We are VERY proud of our school and love showing folks around.
