Job Description

The Food and Nutritional Services at Green Mountain Union High School is now accepting applications for a part-time school year cook, 10-20 hours per week. ****Current compensation is subject to increase before school year starts, per new bargaining agreement underway. Inquire for more details.****

This is a fast paced, high energy position preparing and serving both morning and lunch meals.

Responsibilities include preparing recipes from scratch, working with fresh local ingredients and volume cooking.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and delivering breakfast.
• Preparing and delivering lunches.
• Preparing morning snacks for all students.
• Productions records, and records cooler temperatures daily, as well as dishwasher temperatures daily.
• Adhering to all state and federal food regulations/sanitation.
• Light Janitorial duties (sweeping, occasional mopping, trash/recycle/compost).

No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Position Type: Part-time

Salary: $16 to $20 Per Hour
