McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives in the Southwest region, focusing on on-site implementation across healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors and McCarthy employees to ensure a culture of safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of safety management experience on large construction projects, OSHA 500 certification, and preferably Spanish

Formación

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing safety efforts on large projects.
OSHA 500 certification required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

Monitor safety programs with on-site teams and subcontractors to embed safety culture.
Conduct safety inspections and coordinate with insurance representatives.
Ensure proper protective equipment, first aid materials, and posted safety documents on-site.
Investigate injuries and report to regional safety leadership; implement corrective actions.
Lead weekly Project Safety Toolbox talks for McCarthy staff.
Log safety meetings and documents for OSHA tracking.
