Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to promote a proactive safety culture and oversee the safety program for healthcare, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction projects across the market.

You will conduct regular safety inspections, coordinate with subcontractors and project teams, and lead weekly toolbox talks while investigating injuries and maintaining compliant records. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience managing safety on large construction projects.
• OSHA 500 and BCSP certifications preferred.
• Ability to implement safety programs and conduct on-site safety orientations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel or relocate in the region.

Responsibilities

• Promote proactive safety culture across projects.
• Perform regular safety inspections and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety trainings weekly.
