We are seeking a Wastewater Treatment Business Class Leader for the Southwest Region, which includes Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. This role involves collaborating with regional and national teams to grow our wastewater treatment practice, providing technical support, and participating in professional organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead strategic wastewater client relationships in the Southwest, engaging in technical workshops and regional conferences.
• Manage large, multidisciplinary wastewater treatment projects, including planning, data analytics, process modeling, and project development.
• Serve as client and project manager for regional and national projects.
• Support scope development, resource planning, and guidance on project approach.
• Identify and leverage Subject Matter Experts for project support and emerging technologies.
• Lead or support business pursuits, leveraging technical expertise and client relationships.
• Manage and mentor regional wastewater treatment staff, ensuring the delivery of quality work.
• Participate in business class staff management, business development, and strategic planning.
• Contribute to regional and national wastewater practice groups and professional organizations.

This position can be based in any Southwest HDR office or remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant wastewater project experience.
• Strong leadership, technical, and client relationship skills, especially with water utilities in the Southwest.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field.
• At least 10 years of related experience.
• Professional registration and technical expertise.
• Experience managing diverse teams and collaborating across disciplines.
