Exemplis, manufacturer of SitOnIt Seating and IDEON, seeks an experienced sales representative for the Southern California Sales Team. The role focuses on developing commercial, healthcare, government and higher education business through dealer partnerships and direct marketing to end users and the A&D community.

Local travel and a vehicle for samples are required. The candidate will engage dealers, end users, and interior designers to secure specifications, build relationships and drive growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related sales experience with a proven track record.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills; strong negotiation.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with customers/partners and represent the company professionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong listening skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and business ethics.

Responsibilities

• Support Dealer Sales Reps by providing seating options, samples, and marketing materials.
• Call on end users to communicate the company’s value proposition and products to build opportunities.
• Engage A&D designers to develop specifications and product preferences within firms.
• Participate in team-based selling and manage expenses within budget.
• Travel locally within Southern California to visit dealers and customers.
• Perform additional duties to achieve business objectives.
